"Sarana Foundation (Padanama) has undertaken the noble cause of helping the people affected by the Tsunami. We will have both a short-term and a short-term plan. In the first phase, we focused on immediate relief for the people in refugee camps. Long term plan is to rebuild a selected village hit by the Tsunami and improve their life."

 

"A large number of people were injured by the Tsunami. Seriously injured were in Hospitals and there were many with minor wounds stay at many refugee camps. We provided them with the necessary medical care."

 

"The long term undertaking of the foundation is to rebuild a village damaged by the Tsunami. Reconstruct the houses destroyed by the Tsunami and help them get the rest of the basic facilities to restart their lives. This is a much bigger undertaking which needs a lot of resources in terms of material and money. "
